A woman has appeared in court on charges related to a “hit and run” crash in Hackney.

Harry Webb, 27, was injured after the crash in Kenworthy Road, Homerton, at around 7.30pm on September 10 last year.

He was taken to hospital, but died two days later despite efforts to save his life.

Tiffany Treanor-Johnson, of Bramshaw Road, Homerton, appeared in court today (April 24) charged with failing to stop after a road accident.

According to court documents, the 25-year-old was allegedly driving the Audi involved in the crash, and failed to stop at the scene.

A second charge has been brought against Treanor-Johnson for allegedly failing to stop after causing damage to a red Citroen in the same incident.

During the brief hearing at Thames Magistrates’ Court, Treanor-Johnson spoke only to confirm her name, date of birth and address, and made no plea.

District Judge Buttar adjourned the case until July 24 and granted the defendant unconditional bail.
