Residents are being urged to return their voters registration forms to Barnet Council by November 24 so they can vote in the European elections.
Last year 91 per cent of households in the borough registered to vote in the Mayoral and London Assembly Elections and this year over 137,752 electoral registration forms have been posted to residents.
In addition to enabling residents to vote in the European elections on June 4, the electoral role is also used by many organisations when considering applications for mortgages, loans, credit cards and mobile phones.
If registration details have changed residents must complete and return the form as soon as possible.
If details remain the same they can telephone the freephone number or complete the form via the internet by visiting registerbyinternet.com/barnet.
Councillor Richard Cornelius, cabinet member for policy and performance said: "The deadline for electoral registration is fast approaching and I urge residents wishing to vote to get their completed forms back to the council by the deadline."
